I read a book years ago which i seem to remember was a trilogy, dutch connection, captain von ryeker? I cant even remember what it was about except it was a romantic story and i enjoyed it as one of my first big THICK book reads, and would love to read again.

Also can any one tell me why we remember the storys we read, like its part of our own life. I find this really strange(or is it just me being weird).
