Have been desperately trying to find an old favorite that I of course do not remember the name or author of.
The story had a really good secondary love story. I takes place in England and on ships. The hero has a right hand man who is Scottish and perhaps named Owen (the dialog was very well written) this secondary hero falls in love with a quiet girl named Jane or maybe Ginny. She is the sister of the villain who wants to marry or kill the main heroine.
That's really all I remember except that it isn't by any of my favorite historical romance authors like Catherine Coulter and Julie Garwood. I don't think this is a popular author...
