Set in time of kings and knights, The girls dad arranges a marriage for her, he is dying. The guy she is to marry is deaf, but her dad never told her. The guy can talk because his mom worked with him all his life and he reads lips so he can comunicate. After the wedding they travel back to his home and she trys to talk to him but he wont answer back and she thinks he is being rude. She doesnt find out he is deaf for a while.
Another lost Story: A pirate story. I dont remember much about this one. I recall the girl somehow ends up on a pirate ship and gets involved with the captian, of corse. But i dont know if she excapes or he puts her ashore but she goes home and is misrable. Her parents had said something like she was visiting relatives when she dipapeared so her rep in the ton would not be distroyed. She is at a party or ball and all anyone can talk about is the return of the earls son. She is not interested, when in walks her pirate captian all decked out in evening clothes. He is the earls son
