"Holy Grail" Story - Help!

Help me - PLEASE!  I really want to find this book again, but all I can remember is a bit of the story near the end...

The female and male leads are in a cave with the villain, who is trying to get them to help him find something (probably the Grail or something like it).  They find it or something, and the villain forces the heroine to drink it.  Soon, even though it's pitch black in the cave, the hero can see because the woman is shining and radiating some sort of light.  She also is *very* calm - almost supernaturally so - and confident that things will be okay.  It's like she drank from the Holy Grail and began to exude light and peace.

I cannot remember anything about the rest of the plot or the author.  I'm fairly certain it's an older book - I read it at my grandmother's house about 8 years ago, and it was probably already at least a few years old by then.  PLEASE help me find this book again!  Thanks!

I think I have read this book.  Is the heros brother the villian?  I will look it up and let you know.

I honestly have no memory of who the villain is.  I've been thinking lately that it might be Catherine Coulter who wrote it, but that's just a guess based on her other books' styles.  If you can help, I'll be so grateful!

In case anyone else comes across this and wants to know, I FOUND THE BOOK! It's called "The Wild Baron," and it is, in fact, by Catherine Coulter. There are apparently one or two related novels that I haven't read yet, but "The Wild Baron" is the one with the storyline I was looking for. I highly recommend it if you're interested in a great romance with a fun mystery. :)
