New To Group

Hello everyone,

I just thought I would introduce myself.  My name is Dawna and I am a friend of Sandy M.  I love to read historical romance and write although I am not yet published I have a wip.  She told me about what a wonderful group this is.  I look forward to participating with everyone.

My current Wip is about a young woman who's grandmother has cast a spell for her to find true love. Taylor (The young woman) then starts having dreams about a handsome highland warior who makes love to her and gives her his families betrothal ring.  The ring was to be given to the squeeky English lass Keegans father has arranged for him to marry.

After waking from her dream Taylor finds the ring on her finger and She realizes Keegan is more than just her dream lord.

Currently I am working things into the 13th century but things may change.  There is always room to wiggle.  I found from experience that sometimes a book does not always go in the direction you want it to...and your characters do what they want and will not cooperate.

OMG I know exactly what you mean!

You can plan and plot and outline all you want but they just take over and you end up dragged off in a direction you didn't even know existed! Talk about 'character driven'.
